Tweaking the fan curve a bit dropped temperatures... WebIt uses an unusually high amount of GPU power (relatively) when idle but moving the mouse. The clock rate stays low, but the usage gets up to 20-30%. Long story short, I think I narrowed it down to having something to do with the YCbCr422 and YCbCr420 Output Color Format in the nVidia control panel.

WebIf you want to run silent and cool when browsing on battery mode, turn on battery saver (it limit your cpu frequency to about 1.7Ghz which not cause temp so hot and with 8cpus I think it enough for browsing task).
