WebJun 25, 2011 · Observations from my numerous forts in 40d. I hate embarking in hot places but I still like high drainage (for tree-heavy biomes when high-rain is also present). Murky pools lose their water far too fast for evaporation at the top end of drainage. Certainly, the soil turning to sand is definitely correlated to drainage.
